Day #20 Half-off Special

For an easy way to manage your serving sizes, use a concept called the half-off special!
That simply means eat half as much as you normally would, or take half of the amount you want. If you can't stop yourself from finishing off everything, take a close look at your emotional needs. Maybe something else in your life requires attention or needs to be filled.

What I learned from this lesson that I will implement:
At banquets or meals with several courses, eat half as much but enjoy it without leaving the table feeling stuffed.

At restaurants I will share large servings, take half home or ask for a smaller portion when I order. (I have a friend who orders from the child's menu but sometimes the choice is limited.)

I will make a rule to limit pizza to two slices no matter the size or type. That way I can enjoy those two slices without overthinking it!

At home I will continue to weigh and measure until I learn to be satisfied with smaller portions.
