Thank you, everyone, who loved the decorations; those are just our inside ones, I didn't even get a pic of our outside ones. :D
Things have been smooth the last few days, at least here. Our Daughter wants me to ride with her 3 hours tomorrow to pick up her bengal cat. I wouldn't mind, but it's 3 hours up, and 3 hours back, 6 hour car ride. But I don't want her to go alone either, so I guess I'll go up.
We're waiting to see about 2 grants we're up for; I've not gotten any more information but the guy who's been helping us out a LOT (and his family owns a huge construction business in town here), has said if we get both, we could be very near our goal of $360,000. Keeping our fingers crossed.
The conference call with the architect, the construction person, the city guy, and myself went pretty well. They're supposed to get us a schematic by the end of the week. It's about time after a year of waiting for it.
Oh and they'll have all the things we wanted changed from the original plan in there, YAY, and will stay within our $360,000 limit.
Have a wonderful week, everyone, and take care of yourselves...maybe we'll get snow for Christmas, I hope so.
Oh, our Daughter sent a pic of her husband and our Grandpuppy the other day, I got a laugh out of it, considering Dan is laying on Gator's bed. :D
These are of Gator "watching the Packer Game", funny:
After a touchdown:
Oh, I forgot, our Daughter was going to make some trees out of tomato cages, but because she was so sick, she couldn't (she wanted them for her yard, they dont' have a lot of money to buy things like that.) So I made her a couple. I'm going to take a picture of the second one tonight when it's dark, to show what it looks like. I didn't have any garland for the other one.
And without garland:
