So here are some updates... I am still in physical therapy and I am loving it. I lost some more weight, no a whole pound but bits of it. Doesn't matter it's still down! I had my follow -up doctor's appointment today. My dr is all but chair dancing, we sounded like a cheerleading squad in her office... lol. I have as long as I remember "white coat syndrome" that what some call it. My blood pressure is always very very high when I get to the dr. office. I keep telling them over and over that is not the case at home. I got lucky with my dr the last two times (military dr's change like people change habits). I was able to convince them that I really have low blood pressure when I am not sitting in front of them. So they (the last two) told me to bring my bp cuff in and test it against theirs. So once again I did that this morning and the numbers were almost identical. SO I get to take the readings at home and just phone them or e-mail them in or bring them whatever the case at the time. However my dr had a chair dance over my numbers, because they really are low and normal. We went over the progress of my physical therapy and I was able to update her on some other stuff, less use of medication, weight loss and so on. She is happy and excited for me and I get to do as I please as long as nothing changes; so Yay for me !!
So my garden... yah, pretty much soaked. I love the rain and Texas is notorious low on it, so I am not going to complain... much. But come on, did we have to get it all at once? It's still raining by the way... Hubby went outside and drilled some holes in most of the whiskey barrel planters to let the excess water run out some. I hope I am not loosing to much of the young plants due to rot since they will be soaked for days after. On the other hand the zucchini, squashes and pumpkin loving it. The lettuce and the radishes are laying down on the job and the peppers ... well the jury is still out there. Fortunately it's still early in the game, so they all can come back or be replaced. I have beans and cucumbers on the window sill still and that was going in the ground as soon as the rains stops.
Now, when I first started with Sparkpeople I found the link on pinterest and I also found a link there to some guy who was talking about planting lemon seeds and how his place of employ has these lemon trees growing... and they all did it from seeds. So I did all what he did and for the longest time nothing happened... but you have to come back another day to read what I did and what happened.
