Down, down, down goes the ticker goal!

Today was weigh-in for my 5% challenge team, and today another goal went down. That makes 20% of my new high weight of just under 275 when I restarted in November. I was expecting MAYBE 220 on the scales this morning and was pleasantly surprised with 219.4! That leaves me roughly 6 lbs up from what my smallest was the first time around on Spark. Once I get below 213, it's all new territory for me!

PT went ok this week. Tuesday, John added grapevines to the routine, plus we added the calf raises and heel dips back in. The grapevines hurt after a bit but the calf raise/heel dips went great! I was able to do 20, which up until now, my foot would start burning by about 10-12. Yay...until the DOMS set in lol. My calves are so out of shape now, it was horrendous! On the upside, focusing on my calf pain totally distracted me from my foot aches lol. Silver linings? lol

Yesterday, John was out for a family emergency, so I had 2 fill-in therapists. Started with Kelly, then Donita took over. The calf raise/heel dips didn't go AS well yesterday, my foot started to ache around 15 and I made the mistake of telling her so she made me stop lol. John lets me continue if it's an ache and not actual pain. He says an ache is fine, but a pain can cause a setback.

Anyway, instead of doing the tissue massage with the scrapers (which I was TOTALLY dreading with my calf so sore), she just massaged my leg and foot by hand. I don't know that it really helped from a therapy standpoint but it sure felt good lol.

I've got 4 more sessions I think before I go back to Ortho. I know the shot is coming, I can feel it. :( I do plan on telling my ortho guy about my shoulder though. I had a shot in it back in October and it's wearing off. The last few weeks, I've had some pain in the left one, only a small twinge now and then in the right. Oh the joys of arthritis and living in Kansas with crazy fluctuating barometric pressures!

I'd better finish my coffee now, get my first stretch session in and see what I've got left to do on my Bingo card for the Diamonds! No mountain climbers, thank heavens! I did those yesterday...all booted up for safety lol.
