I had so much fun Tuesday evening! My second to the youngest grandson, Cage-age 9, was in a play at his school. He belonged to Robin Hood's gang who was trying to rescue Cinderella.
The children did a remarkable job and made me laugh all the way through.
Then my youngest grandson, Cade-age 7 , asked the drama teacher if he could be in next year's play. She assured him that she would be going around to all the classes next year to see who wanted to be in the next play.
I had a grand time and about fell on the floor laughing so much and enjoying the excursion!
That account brought back so many memories for me - first, those when I was a kid & we put on skits & plays at school, at church, & in Brownies. Next, when our own three "Vision" Blessings were the thespian talents & now with our Grandblessings as the performers in such productions. And, the other memories were of the years I was the adult in the classroom & working with my students to learn their parts &, of course, the excitement of the actual performances - both daytime for other classes to enjoy & at night for parents & guests to delight in.
