What works for me

I know I am new to the SparkPeople community, but I've had my fair share of success and failures in the wellness game. Achieving wellness means different things to different people and what works for one won't work for all. Wellness to me includes losing weight and being fit, but it also includes a good attitude and positive mindset. In my world, all of these things affect each other. When I'm eating healthfully, I feel better physically; when I workout, I feel energized; feeling better physically and feeling energized both make me happy; when I am happy, I have a positive attitude. I feel my best when I am taking care of my body and mind. No matter what the scale reads, if I'm working hard to take care of myself, I am taking better care of my family, too.
