couldn't; just couldn't

Couldn't move this morning, so much hurt, like a truck run me over... just arthritis, but crips does it have to hurt so much? We had a wild thunderstorm last night. Hubby says it sat right over the house and was scary and violent and even though I slept right through all of it... that should give me pause on how tired I was, I feel like I ran right through it. I had to cancel my physical therapy because I just couldn't get up enough umpf to get into the truck and drive 25 miles to it. ... and people... I took my meds. Something I don't do unless I really really have to.
Now it's late afternoon and I just got up from my nap and feel so, so much better. I finished my last book on my kindle that is not already in a collection. It has to be keep worthy to make it into a collection. I have 5 pages of collections, most by author and some by genre... like romance, mystery or paranormal. Those are some of my favorite. One of my latest authors wrote a series on dragon shifters and vampires... what else lol. No, just seriously my reading project for the next few month is finally to get to all those books I own from Nora Roberts. I read her pseudo... J.B. Robb already three time through, always in order. But I only collected Nora Roberts so far. I have currently 190 books of hers, so I am tackling those in the coming month. I started today with "The liar" and I didn't even check where it falls in her reading list, but I got caught up in it already so I'll finish before I go and sort out the rest..
Hubby and I went to the garden center for some dirt yesterday and of course found some more rescue plants. We chose a rose, again. This time one that has that long stem and then the ball of shrub above, like a dandy lion top full of seeds. All its blooms are spent and with a bit of deadheading and some tender care I hopefully can coax it to take to a spot in my garden. I just have to pick the spot when I feel like I can dig and not pull a muscle. In the meantime I coddle it and care for it on the porch. We also got lucky and hit the garden center on a day the plants... all plants were half off! Lucky break, because my hubby didn't want to buy any more plants. This way I got two more evergreen shrubs and a bunch of impatiens out of it... YAY!
