Throwing in the towel

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

I feel like throwing in the towel on this journey. The first month I lost 10 pounds. Note here it is two and a half months in and I've only lost a total of 12 pounds. That's 2 pounds in the last six weeks. Maybe this is the universe saying you are always going to be fat just give up.

It's 12 pounds you would not have lost if you hadn't tried, and who knows what you would have gained? I congratulate myself when I don't go in the other direction. Keep the faith! emoticon

The next question is: are you eating enough? I know I've been coached before about my tendency to cut too many calories. It CAN be a problem. I always have to be careful when I'm trying to lose. Just a thought.

My mom would tell me when I felt the same way, that are bodies get used to are weight and at the start we lose more and we come to the part of a pause, just don't give up or give in, the weight will fall off it takes time

Keep at it! I went 6 weeks not losing any weight. Then I lost 6 pounds and average a pound a week. Be patient!

I drink 4-5 bottles a day. I weigh 193 right now so I think I am drinking enough.

I am working with my chiro to lose weight and clean out my intestinal tract. I never knew you had to drink half your body weight in water ounces to help you lose weight. Are you drinking enough?
