Persistence shows a pattern. I am far from perfection on my plan. I would probably lose more quickly if I were. But I do notice a solid pattern. One week I lose, next week is maintain or slight gain, next week gain more, next week lost 2-3 pounds. I get so mad every time I gain. I want to give up and not go back But I keep on keepin on. And this week I lost 2.4 pounds! I also won the date night. My husband and I have deal that whoever does the best during 2 weeks gets to pick the date night. I picked out something super cool that I have wanted to do for over 20 years and am really excited.

I have only lost a little less than .5 pounds on average since I started 4 months ago. But I have also not gained overall so its probably more like 1 pound of work a week. I will keep chipping away at my goals. Right now, I am getting over my candy habit. I want to keep chipping away at my sugar addiction. I have been walking a crazy amount of steps and want to add in more exercise.

It was also my 16 weeks and it took this long to really see the pattern is real and progress is progress. I might be a tortoise in this race, but I am in the race and heading the right direction.
