'Tis the season to be jolly. . .

When I passed Santa on the weekend, the line was crazy long. I felt sorry for all the parents who were trying to accomplish some Christmas cheer by having their children's pictures taken with the jolly fat man. It looked painful! Yesterday I was deep in thought, contemplating my next move, and I turned to see Santa looking at me. I was surprised. I said, "You're all alone!" So I went over and sat right down. We chatted. I told his helpers to take my picture. As I was going to pay, they asked me which package I wanted. I said, "I don't need a package, I just want one! I should just have you take one with my phone." The young lady complied, adding "I hope my boss doesn't come along!" Those lovely folks created some real Christmas magic for me! I haven't had my picture taken with Santa in about a hundred years! When I kissed Santa, he said "I'm not sure she got that one. You better do it again." Jolly old elf!
Christmas is about making memories and this one is an especially fun one that I will treasure.
