The problem of in-between

Friday, January 13, 2017

Losing weight is great and fitting into chairs that use to pinch your hips is a thrill. But there comes the day when your cloths are getting very loose. It was wonderful when they were no longer too tight but now they are hanging and some pants need to be put up before they fall off. It is hard as we can't really afford a new wardrobe at every size between where we were and where we want to be. I started out at a 4/5X and still had a few 3X that I squeezed into but I want to get down to a 12/14. That is a lot of in-between and I am retired so not sure at what points I should go ahead and buy smaller cloths. Don't get me wrong it is a nice problem to have but it still is a bit of a problem. It might be a while yet before I give the too big cloths to Goodwill and I need to look through my things to see what I have held onto in smaller sizes.

Funny as I really can't see a lot of difference in the mirror but luckily we have scales and tape measures and chairs and cloths to let us know that we are doing well in this quest to lose weight.

Enjoy the journey!
