A #beyondthescale kind of day

My WWDays are all about eating better and moving more, and we know it's more than just that...sometimes it's #beyondthescale. Today I did other things for me in addition to eating better and moving more.
This morning I had an appointment with my derm for my yearly all over body check. Since I love the sunshine and grew up in a swimsuit, I'm often paying for it when I see the derm. Today she didn't see a single mole on my body that needed to be removed. SCORE! I always breathe better post appointment when I hear that...and it doesn't happen often. She always finds something.
I had time to walk outside (SO COLD, real feel of 1`) before my next appointment. To make my hair look as young as my inside feels, I enjoyed getting my hair youthenized. It's important!. Believe me!
And I walked some between that appointment and the last: acupuncture. I used to get pinned when I worked at the hospital--one of the BEST benefits for someone with pain. A friend said that the senior center had pinnings on Thursdays for $20, and so I went. I was the youngest one there, younger still cause of my necessary youthenization procedure. 40 minutes later I walked out feeling better. My wrist pain is gone and my two fingers feel mostly better.
And I walked Elmer in the field when I got home. And it was still a real feel of 1`. Hard walking in the wind and snow. Elmer loved it.
Some days we do other things to make our body healthy. Today was one of those days. AND I still got my 14000+ steps done.
