Farewell to my mama

Mama passed away in the wee hours of May 4th, after suffering a heart attack on April 28th. She lingered in the hospital for almost 6 days. Those were hard days for her, but it allowed my family to gather, including our sister and her husband, who live in Alaska.

I'm so grateful I had a good relationship with her and lived close enough to see her as often as I did.

I was blessed to be able to spend those last days – and moments – with her.
