Another Week Down and Another 3.4 lbs GONE!!-Week 2 of my 100 Day Challenge
Saturday, June 17, 2017
So from the title of this blog I guess you can tell that the second week of my 100 Day Challenge was another success!
Honestly it's a testament to how effective my action steps are that this was the case ESPECIALLY this week! I had my end of rotation exams this week which as per usual meant that my stress and anxiety were through the roof, my sleep was virtually non-existent and usually it would also mean that my fitness would be non-existent too and my eating would be out of this world! That wasn't the case this week though. My no more than one serving of junk food in the house action step pretty much kept my eating in check and then my 10000 steps a day action step forced me get some activity in even when it wasn't my formal fitness routine of a Focus T25 video. There I was walking back and forth in front of my computer as I studied just so that I could keep my step streak alive!
I must admit that it wasn't ALL roses this week though as I had my first "bad" day of the Challenge on Wednesday through a combination of allowing the stress to get to me and just being awake for too long and so eating more in general. I went over my allowed maximum of 2000 calories by 645. As far as "bad" days go though I'll take it because I KNOW the damage that I can do and HAVE DONE during an exam week!
I now have 11/12 good days under my belt and to say I'm SUPER happy about that doesn't even begin to express how proud of myself I am!
So as of today I am 168.8 lbs! 8.2 lbs down from the 177 lbs that I started this challenge with last week Monday and 1.2 lbs below where I expected to be in the NEXT two weeks!!
Now by no means am I going to get carried away and expect this kind of losing to be the norm over the rest of these100 days but instead I am going to keep on taking it a day at a time, trying to keep my action steps front and center in my mind and be happy with whatever results I get.
So yep that's my recap for Week 2 of my 100 Day Challenge! Here's to an even better week 3!! As always remember
