rain and fog

This is my season, when it rains at night and is all foggy in the morning... I just got back from my morning walk and it feels amazing. The air is so much cleaner and it smells like earth and wet leaves out there, like forest after a storm. We didn't get much rain here last night, but it was gentle and quiet, steady all night long. I think it's the best there is for the gardens and lawns. But walking in it when the moisture still clings to everything is my high. I feel great today, helps that the scale dropped a bit, too. lol
