If you followed my original journey you are well aware of my focus on balanced nutrition and no gimmicks. At that time I had nothing but time to focus on meal planning and preparation, outlining and executing my workouts religiously.
Fast-forward 9 years. What's different? Very little time available for the meal planning/preparation and working out. I'm squeezing in a few minutes of exercise a couple days a week but there needs to be a lot more of it.
My meal planning/prep is pretty much non-existent. I have made my list and this weekend I will at least get some soups going so that I have something easy to fall back on when the day went sideways and I don't feel like cooking (or eating for that matter). I know it's all about baby steps and persistence.
My wife found a weight loss supplement program that she seems to be having some success with. She convinced my to give it a try and I agreed I would give it three weeks (that is the introductory kit) to see if it would help. Really, I'm not looking for a "magic pill" as I know there absolutely is no such thing. It's definitely something different for me, and if it will help me build the momentum getting started, why not?
