Ups and Downs

I have lost 13.9 pounds since I started this. I'm super pumped about that. I'm no longer at my heaviest weight ever, which is a great feeling. I can feel myself getting stronger.

At the same time, I'm not resisting temptation as well as I would like to be. Cookies and brownies and other such things are so hard for me to resist. I need to do a better job of that.

So it's not all been good, but it's all been informative. I know my triggers are still there, and I know I need to avoid them. I know if I have one cookie, I will have another...and maybe several more. I can't give in to that first one, not if they are going to be around (like at work). And I definitely cannot buy baked goods at home because I definitely will eat more than I should. Learning this now is a good thing, because it will help me avoid these pitfalls down the road.
