shift change

It feels like shift change this morning. As I was waking up I noticed that hubby was crawling into bed. Apparently he was working and monitoring some major updates on the computer last night. .. mostly monitoring I think. So I had all kinds of sticky notes on the keyboard this morning. Guess he thought he'd be in bed when I get up. But hey; that means I get a "Me Day" since he'll be sleeping till noon. Yay!

I spent my day running around yesterday. Had to go to the Airbase and the pharmacy and the grocery store and drop off some cook books at the Goodwill place. I didn't find everything I was looking for so I was in a grumpy mood when I got home. That didn't matter though, because I came back to a quiet house. It was just getting dark outside and only the puppy greeted me. Oh and there were several package boxes on my porch. I love getting packages. I ordered my self a serving station. One of those 3 pan things that I can keep food warm in and serve it in. I was so exited, because that was not to be delivered until Saturday. Yet here it was. It will get great use out of it on Thanksgiving when the family is here. I can't wait... I am so exited that everyone can make it this year. I won't even let anyone bother with bring food. All of it is already in my fridge and freezer and cooking it will be a lot of fun. My grand-daughter is here for the three days before the holiday, due to no school and they didn't sign up for day care in time. But that is better for me. I love that girl here and she loves to do things with us. So cooking and baking it is.
