This morning I wrapped a few of my "special" cookies in tissue paper and took them to the local bank when I cashed my check. It was silly and fun and the girls there enjoyed it.

But no sooner had I come home and the phone rang... my daughter calling from the city (about 25 minutes away) and laughing into the phone.
Well, sh..t; I totally forgot that halve the bank employees in our small town went to school with my kids. Needless to say, my daughter got a phone call how I had come into the bank and dished out cookies to them all. Huff... so much for secret Santa fun.

I told her, her daughter better be wearing her elf hat when she spends the day on Friday. She'll be handing out the rest of the cookie bags I made... lol

You're right - you can't get away with anything in a small town! Hopefully your granddaughter will be able to be "incognito"!
