New year, New you

A new year and not a new start but a renewed mind to a healthy lifestyle and future weight loss.
I know in order to do this I have to have plan and an end goal. How will I know how to proceed if I do not know the end? A good story always has an end.
The current fitness does not work for me. I have so many resources and workout videos but I get frustrated with them because I am starting to have joint pains. I have had excellent results doing DDP yoga and so I am going to start doing this starting out 3 times a week. Once I meet this goal consistently for one month I will go back and revaluate.
By Dec 31, 2018 I hope to be down 50lbs which would put me around 250. This would be around 1 pound/week loss. I feel like this is doable if I can commit to my plan.
Nutrition goals for January---
My nutrition is none existent. I am not consistent with my healthy eating or drinking water. I hope with small steps I can refocus that area and move forward.
Week 1- Drink 8 cups of water
Week 2- No eating after 8pm
Week 3- add a fruit or veggie to all meals
Week 4- Track food 3 times this week while keeping all previous goals
Read my bible and pray 4 times a week. I know with this it will keep stress from creeping up in my life and give my mind and much needed renewal.
Wake up every morning and speak positively about yourself.-Make a note and place by the bathroom mirror to see first thing.
I will make it a point to reassess my goals and plans at the first of every month to make any changes to areas I have meet my goal or areas where I may not have met the changes I was wanting.
