car mishaps and bad weather
Sunday, February 25, 2018
Today my oldest dear daughter DD asked to take our car to work.
20 minutes later we got a call that she had been in a fender bender
We got to the accident and gingerly approached as all the surfaces were covered in a slick film of ice
No one was hurt but there was significant damage done to the our van and the van that she slid into.
As we waited for the tow truck, my daughter is still recovering from an old concussion looked green, had a headache and felt nauseous.
A very nice policeman saw us waiting and stopped.
We decided to call an ambulance to check out my daughter.
the ambulance attendants were super nice and thought she may be better going home and seeing if her symptoms got worse before going o emergency.
While we were waiting the tow truck driver slipped and fell on the ice and the policeman almost did.
The very nice ambulance drivers took us to our car and put done salt so we could get to our car without any more mishaps. My husband went with the van to the collision centre.
No one else is driving today and I'm now very happy to stay home and make some delicious meals as stress release,
All's well that ends with no injuries.
Stay safe everyone. Life can turn on a dime.
Feeling a little shaken up and grateful.
