Relax Time

I'm in college. The way that the classes are set up is you get 2 classes for 5 weeks. In week 5 everything is due by Thursday so the instructors can get the grades turned in by Friday. This is week 5 of my current 2 classes. I had done the discussion question for this week on Saturday before Elijah went to bed. I had done the drill and retaken the midterm on Sunday during Wyatt's nap time since it was raining and cold outside. Monday I did the finals. So all I had left was the live class on Tuesday and Thursday at 9am. The class went so well on Tuesday that we not only got out a little early but the instructor had nothing for today's class. So he asked all of us if we wanted to meet and all 4 or 5 of us in class said that we were good. So I had everything done for week 5 before 10:30 in the morning giving me an extra 2 days to chill. So instead of having 3 days to chill and relax I have 5 days to chill and relax. It looks like both of my new classes have been published. I like the instructors I have for both classes and the live classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 and 11 and they are 90 minutes long. Yesterday I had gone to the PCP for me and I got the oil changed in my truck and the air filter changed as well. Tomorrow Wyatt has a WIC appointment at 8:30. Today I don't have to go anywhere.

Yesterday I finally went to the PCP for the first time since I was pregnant with Elijah and he's now 9. My biggest concern was my weight. I actually saw a nurse practitioner. I had requested my thyroid and my vitamin D get checked as well as anything else they wanted to check. My A1C is good as is my blood pressure. My blood pressure has always been good. Even when I was pregnant with both of my kids. I'm tired and lack energy. I wake up tired and go to bed tired. I usually average about 6-7 hours of sleep a night. It's on rare occasion I get 8 or more hours of sleep and when I do get 8 hours or more of sleep I'm still tired. Both of my grandfathers were diabetic. I'm glad my A1C is good. They took blood to check my thyroid and vitamin D. I'm not sure what else they are going to check. I requested a referral to see a nutritionist or an RD and she wants to rule out any metabolic things first. I didn't get a chance to reschedule for a month before I left because I had to go get my oil changed. The air filter in my truck has never been changed so I got a new one while I was there. The nurse practitioner told me to cut out sugary drinks and to drink water and to cut back on starches and I'll lose like 5-10 pounds a month and to get more active. Stuff I already know.
