Knee pain

Tuesday, May 15, 2018

I'm fairly lucky as not a lot of pain. Mostly when I stand up and the lower the chair, the harder and more pain I have in my knees. Don't hurt once I'm up or down but just the in between. My 6' 8" older son had a lot of joint pain when he was younger and continuing to grow (I'm hoping he has stopped growing). He started taking OTC Glucosamine Joint Therapy several years ago and stopped complaining about achy joints. I have just started taking it this week and hope it will do the same for me. I'm also thinking about getting a lift chair. But at 68 and almost 300 lbs. I'm doing good to not be in more pain and I'll do what I can to keep it that way.

BWT no my tall son doesn't play basketball. He really hasn't ever had much interest in sports.

Sorry about the knee pain. The main thing is not to overdo it. Find movements that don't hurt and use them to make up your steps. Remember … Any movement is good movement.

I joke that my knees are much older than the rest of me. Hope you get some relief from the pain.
