Provide myself with healthy meals. Eat relaxed.
Chew my food well.
Eating relaxed is my code to myself to sit and not be regularly rushed to eat before going on to the next thing, to be intentional and to make time in the day for the meal. It’s about not pacing through the kitchen or the house taking my bites when I can be a little more human and have a chair and connect with structure and a measure of purposeful routine. It’s also about being in a joyful mood when eating, not tensed up or stressed and this is so I can focus on chewing my food well and digesting things better. What a novel concept right? Everyone starts somewhere. 😜 I’ve been mindful of this for 2018 and I’m reporting in that I’m making some good progress in forming better habits. This old dog is learning new tricks. 😊.
