Day 24 - From Good To Meh, To Great!
Thursday, June 14, 2018
Last night I went to bed about an hour later than usual. But I woke up feeling pretty refreshed and happy. That is until I thought up the brilliant idea of sneaking a peek on the scale. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I was up 1lb. This took my morning from good to ... meh.
I didn't really want to start my day feeling 'meh'. So I decided to take my usual walk (with the dog) in hopes of lifting my spirits a little. Because we all know that exercise releases endorphins. And endorphins are essential to my bipolar brain. Endorphins and my other bipolar drugs help to keep me balanced, and out of the pit of depression.
The walk worked. I felt better and my day went from meh to great again. So good that I decided to do the "Upper Body Burn" workout video from the SP Premium videos. My arms are terribly out of shape. So yes, my arms are feeling a little burn right now. If you have SP Premium I highly recommend that video workout section - there are lots of good workouts.
So, once again, exercise to the rescue. I'm feeling great - regardless of what the scale says. And from now on, I'm not doing random weigh-ins, because every day should be great!
