Never Stop Being a Mom

We can never stop being moms...

Today was a heartbreaking day for my daughter and her family....Their 8 year old dog, Lola had to be put to sleep today...Earlier this week, they thought she had sunburn after being walked on the sunny days...the vet told them it was possible, and they tried a salve to ease the pain...last night, they took her to the vets, because, she was limping so much and seemed to be in so much pain...turns out, she had a slipped disc in her neck and was given steroids, The vet hoped that she would show improvement withing 48 hours...well, this morning, Lola couldn't move,,,she whinned and, it just was not good...they decided to put her out of her pain....but, they couldn't move her to get her to the vets, so, the vet came to the house and took care of her....I know how hard that was (I had to do the same a couple of years ago), but, at least, Lola was at home , comfortable and surrounded by love..

Being mom....I wanted to be there, to hold my little girl as she cried (she is 38), but, she had to share this time with her husband and little boy...Not easy being a mom...no matter how old they are...they are still our little ones, and it breaks our hearts to see them in pain...She know I love her and would do anything for her...that's what is truly important...
