Sorry if I am on my soap box again, but I got help last week. I have answers now and new medicine. I have a therapist and coping skills. But I can't forget the many I saw who didn't have a home to go to when they got out, who didn't have a loving family ready to support them, who didn't have any clothes other than the ones they wore when they came in, who couldn't afford the new therapist and medicines. My heart breaks for them. My heart breaks when every day you turn on the news or log on to a news site and yet another family has been ripped apart by suicide, abuse, drugs, violence. Every single news story goes back to someone having a mental illness. Someone not getting the help they needed because others will judge them. Being condemned and judged by folks who do not understand. We have to stop the stigma!
