Day 6
Saturday, July 14, 2018
Well I did get on the treadmill and walk for 30 minutes and I did eat properly, but I know I need to do more. But at least I am developing some consistency.
Today was a day that I mostly did things for myself that needed to be taken care of. I worked on 3 pieces of furniture that didn't need a lot -- but each needed some final touches. So I did get a desk listed and it already sold or at least the interested person is coming tomorrow so hopefully it will be gone. My DH will be handling it as I am headed back up to Dad's to see how he is doing. I am beginning to worry about him on days when I am not there because he is functioning at such a low level for being in Assisted Living. The phone company as of noontime did not have the phone connected and promised to call me when it was fixed. So far no call. I am going to give them a very hard time if I can't call Dad in the morning to let him know I'm on my way. Not that I think it will make any difference.
So the rest of today was about me picking up prescriptions at a pharmacy and taking my son to get him a haircut and then I ran out of steam. So, perhaps health wise I will do more tomorrow. I just don't know what each day will bring with Dad. He has no one else and I don't want to neglect him in any way.
Well, I do know that God has me in His hands so I will think only positive thoughts and look forward with confidence.
Good Nite All,
Sheila
