Proof is in the Pudding

Well, I am back and embarrassed that I have taken such bad care of myself. I just hate to exercise and so I have kept myself busy doing everything else BUT exercise. I have told myself that I am getting lots of steps in each day -- but that was self delusion as the proof is in the pudding. Or perhaps on the scale. I now weigh 165 lbs. and that is the highest I have ever weighed. So here I am again. I have proved that I need to move the body consistently and I need accountability. So, I will get on the treadmill today and Walk for 30 minutes. That will probably find me winded as I have not moved much for a while and I need to build up. Kind of pathetic sounding if you ask me -- but that's the reality. Blogging does help me be accountable to me and others so I'll do this frequently as well.

I have already started recording my food -- its a pain but for the time being I need to do that as well. Got to get serious about this!

I will walk today and then record the blessed event.

    Well, I did exercise today so that is something -- a start. Now I'm going out to the shop to paint furniture. Morticia you are right -- no days off. Thanks you guys for the encouragement!
