This past Thursday was my birthday and I turned another year older. My sister had gotten me a gift card to get a new planner for 2019 and it'll be here any day now and I can't wait. She also got me a traveler's notebook (TN for short) with some inserts to go inside and a pen. It's the first time I've I've ever had a TN and I've been curious about it. Mom and the boys got me some yarn, a row counter for when I'm working on a project, stencils and some washi tape. Mom picked up some pizza from Little Ceasars and some cake and ice cream. My birthday was complete with the end of the rainbow in my backyard. So pretty. I did have class on my birthday but I was also able to get 3 assignments and 2 drills done and turned in during class and was able to relax for the rest of the day and the weekend without having to worry about anything.



When I started college in October of 2015 I was supposed to be done this month at some point. Not really sure when I was supposed to be done but it was a 3 year program. Life has a habit of getting in the way and now I'm not done until February 8, 2019. I have 6 classes left to go and I'm excited to get done with school and to see what this new career has in store for me. I am grateful that mom has let me stay home after having Wyatt and is letting me focus on school so I don't have to take any more classes. I am getting a bit anxious to start working and making an income but at the same time I know that I need to get done with school and to focus. It's a daily reminder that I need to focus on school and to not get ahead of myself.



I have officially started my blog site. While I'm still working on getting it set up I do have a few blogs up already. I am grateful for the opportunity to blog about my weight loss journey. My hopes for that is that as time goes on I can work in a gym part time and work as a blogger part time. I do want to monetize my blog site and I'm trying to find ways to do that. I know it's going to take time to get to the point where I'm making money off of my blog site. I do need to finish setting it up and I'm trying to find somebody to help with that. Me and technology don't always get along. I need to add some links and stuff to it. It's not perfect yet but one day it'll get there. I'm going to be doing some experimenting with meal planning. I've tried it once but it didn't work out. Somebody had told me that more frequent trips to the store actually saves money. One of my favorite things is a planner. I've been using the classic happy planner for about 3 years now. I have added some monthly extension packs and found some notes extension packs and a cleaning schedule bundle and a meal planning bundle. What I didn't realize is that the meal planning bundle is for the big happy planner. So I had to get a new cover for it and some discs as well. But it's all set up now and ready to go. I am going to try going to the store frequently and see if that does save me some money. I know I do want some healthier options. I did find a 3 pack of New York Strip steaks on managers special for $13.33 and it's originally $25.91 so I grabbed that. One of the things I plan on doing is going grocery shopping during the week when my mom and Elijah are at work or school. Quicker and cheaper that way and it'll be easier to stick with the grocery list that way.



I've been slacking off in the exercise department. Elijah and I did use the dumbbells on Saturday after we got home from his appointment. I had to get out all 3 sets of dumbbells because I know that if Wyatt saw me and Elijah using them then he would want to use them as well. I have a set of 2, 5 and 10 pound dumbbells. Wyatt got the 2 pounds, Elijah got the 5 pounds and I got the 10 pounds. Me and Elijah did a couple of videos. I think during nap time today I am going to bring out a set of dumbbells and a kettlebell and hook up my computer to the TV in the living room and do a few videos. Not sure what I'll find but I'll find something.
