Intimacy with God

⭐️⭐️⭐️Today while I was praying and meditating on God`s Word, the word RELATIONSHIP kept coming to me in the Spirit. Webster`s dictionary defines RELATIONSHIP as "the state of being connected by blood or marriage" That is powerful! We are connected to God by the Blood of Jesus! God wants us to know that religion and ritual are not all there is to knowing Him. He wants us to know Him as Father. He wants us to know Him as our Protector and our Provider. Jesus became our Mediator and High Priest with His death on the Cross. Jesus paved the way for us to have a direct RELATIONSHIP with God. To know God as Abba Father is what every Christian should desire. When we have an intimate relationship with God we are able to worship Him in Spirit & in Truth and our worship is a pleasing fragrance to Him. We are able to hear the Holy Spirit clearly. We are able to feel God`s presence and we are able to hear His voice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
All true worship begins with our adoption. All prayer, all praise, all singing — all of our relating to God — begins with being able to come to Him as His children. That’s what Jesus won for us. When He went to the cross, He paid the immeasurable price of our adoption, to make us sons and daughters of the living God.
🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 And so when He teaches us to pray in Matthew 6:9, He tells us come to God like this: “Our Father who art in heaven . . .”
There is infinite intimacy in that statement. "Our Father in heaven..." There’s transcendence (He is in heaven), yet an utter accessibility that He gives us as He calls us His sons and daughters.

💖💖 💖 Religion and ritual are not enough...God desires a RELATIONSHIP. Let`s try to draw closer to God in a more intimate way so when we do call on Him as ABBA FATHER He recognizes us as one of His own.💖 💖 💖
