Two weeks in and I'm getting into the groove and feeling good :)

I haven't seen much movement in the scale just yet, but I'm feeling a lot better and not having to deal with any cravings or FOMO. Having a cheat day works for me because should I get food envy or want something, I just wait for the cheat day to do it. This time I only ate until I felt satisfied and I actually went down 0.2 lb the next day.
I have seen my measurements starting to go down which is even better acknowledgement of I'm on the right track. I'm still doing strength workouts and some cardio. But I need to strike the right balance for myself. I find that if I workout too much it actually leads to me gaining weight and not losing weight. It puts too much stress on my body and stress doesn't allow me to lose any weight.
I'm heading into my third week pretty happy and confident that I could stay eating this way as a norm rather than just for losing weight. Maybe when I maintain weight have a couple of days of fruit but that's about all I would like to change at this time.
