When I was a teen, I was a normal BMI. Never very athletic and hated gym class. I could do sit-ups with no problem and didn't even need someone holding my legs down. But I could never do push-ups. Not even the modified ones or weren't they called "girl" push-ups. So today I looked at a SP article on doing push-ups. It's called '4 Push-Up Modifications You Can Try Today'. They are:

Modification #1: Wall Push-Up
Modification #2: Incline Push-Up
Modification #3: Quadruped Push-Up
Modification #4: Bent Knee Push-Up

So I'm thinking that push-ups would help my arms and maybe get rid of the bat wings. At least help them. I really think my arms have gotten better thanks to water fit classes but the bat wings were so bad and still are large. So I checked and found a wall in the kitchen that seems to be ok for the wall push-ups. Going to go slow. Today I did 10. I need to be able to do 15 for 3 sets. I'm not sure if that means I'd have to do all 3 sets with only a little rest between or can that be spaced further apart? First I just need to build up to doing a set of 15 and worry about the others once I can do that. Not sure how long this should take and I am not sure if I can get to a set of real push-ups but even if I only can do modified ones, I will be proud of myself.
