In February I decided to get a Fitbit to monitor my sleep to prove to my husband that I get less than 4 to 6 hours a night sleep with our 18-month-old. Somehow that turned into me trying to push my self each day to make 5000 steps a day. However Then I realized my sister who is a nurse is pulling in 15000 to 18000 a day during a work week. Made me feel like I was lazy. lol
With a desk job, I found it so hard to hit 5000 a day Monday to Friday however since I decided to start working out again I have been getting 9000 to 11000 a day Monday to Friday. Weekends vary from 8000 to 17000. Days I don't work out I end up fighting for my 6000 goal.
It's not even 2:00 pm here yet and I've just hit my goal mark of 6000 steps. Most days I have been doing 30-minute workout but today I wasn't feeling it and only did 20 minutes.
Oh and last night I took my son in bed with me around 2:00 am and he slept till 8:30 am. I'm one happy mama today hahaha. Lots of sleep.
