My alarm is set at 5:45 on days my son goes to school. When the phone rang this morning before 5, I wondered if it was bad news. I was relieved when it was just a recorded message that there would be no school due to power outages and flooding in the district. We had had thunder storms all night but we hadn't lost power at the house. That meant that we could sleep in and so we did. When my son woke and saw the time he was a little concerned but I quickly told him no school. It is kind of nice that it is on a Friday but the bad part is they will have to make up the day at the end of the month. I forget if the last day was suppose to be May 30 or 31 but it will have a day added now.
I try to take my measurements once a month on the 10th. Had some good news on a few. My hips stayed the same but my waist was down 3/4 of an inch and that means my waist to hip ratio is down to 0.859. Still an apple but very close to being an avocado shape. My upper arm is down 1/4 of an inch. Bat wings are noticeably more toned. Yea, water aerobics! Neck also down 1/4 of an inch. Every little bit helps. I notice that when I started my stomach and upper legs were fairly solid but now they seem more flabby but I can't really tell that I have a lot of excess skin. I'm hoping that doing it slow will help keep me from having a lot of excess skin but even if I do it will still be better than being morbidly obese or even as I currently am Class 2 Obese. I weigh every morning and it looks like it should be a good week. No plans to over eat on Mother's Day but will wait to eat out on Monday.
