day twenty-five

My weigh-in was better than I feared as only gained 1.4. Hopefully I won't have any off days this coming week and can get down some more before we go to Missouri and the wedding. Hard to eat on plan when travel and visit family but I'll try to do better than I have before. I don't want to get above that 50 # loss. I am looking forward to when I can get down my next 10 as that will put me at my half way to goal mark.
My knee is feeling better today. Been putting heat on it and that seems to help. Did some praying this morning for healing. It was raining early and I wonder how wet the camping trip will be for my son. Got him off about 11 am. Of course, there was only one thing that could break and he dropped and broke it. It is just so frustrating that he is so careless. Hopefully that will be the only thing that goes wrong. It is great that he seems to be getting to do more this summer with his friend.
A couple of years ago I saw the movie 'The Call' with Halley Berry as a 911 operator. I recently recorded it as thought it was really good and thought my older son would also enjoy it but he only watched a little bit of it and said it was boring. You just never know. He has to weigh every Monday and send a picture of weight to his recruiter who is now the sergeant. He said he did good this week. He isn't eating bread nor pasta and runs about 25-30 minutes every evening. Seems to me like he eats a lot but at 6' 6" it takes a lot. I need to get our cars washed so can put on his army bumper stickers that he got. I think he is happy about finally getting to enlist and looking forward to his future. If plan A doesn't work then you find your plan B and who knows down the road if he want to try college or law enforcement again, he might make it.
It's about time to eat a bite for supper as older son said he's hungry. Later tonight we can maybe watch the American Ninja Warrior together. It is amazing what some people can do. Hope you are all having a great week. Take care and...
