day forty-one

Wednesday, July 10, 2019

I did sleep better last night. Had figs and oatmeal cooked overnight in crockpot for breakfast and had ham and several veggies with some brown rice for lunch cooked in a different crockpot. That is about the only way I cook anything that isn't processed and frozen. Maybe I was retaining water as I released a lot this morning about every 20-30 minutes. Hopefully that will help get rid of some of the weight gain. My knee was bothering me more today but think it feels better again now. I know it will just take a lot of time to get completely well but I'm sure that it will get back to normal. I have only been doing the water fit exercise as I don't want to maybe hurt it again like with the bowling.
My tomato plant has gone completely crazy. It has continued to get tall and it has spread out in every direction. There are a lot of flowers on it too. The bell pepper plant has grown a little but not too much. It doesn't get as much sun might be part of the reason but at least I'm seeing more flowers on it too so might get some veggies by fall.
Hearing thunder so guess we'll get some rain over night. Sometimes that is good sleeping weather as long as the thunder isn't too close and loud. Hope it is over by morning as seems have fewer people in class when weather is bad. Also I was thinking of getting car washed tomorrow. Well it is good for the plants.
week is half over. have a good second half.

Keep drinking the water! It helps. Glad the knee feels a little better, keep babying it.

Sounds like things are getting back to normal and back to your routine. Water fit classes will no doubt help that knee.

Our news people say that your area is in for some rain and bad weather from Hurricane Barry this weekend. Please take shelter if you're in a danger area and please be safe.
