I know many won't care, but I tried to donate plasma today and my veins weren't good enough. They couldn't find one good enough in my right arm. She told me to stick to just donating blood. I said, Maybe if I lose 100#s, I can?". She just looked at me. I just completed my masters with an online program and the one thing I know is the size of you "WHY" determines how successful you'll be. My 'WHY' is now huge!!!!

    I have bad veins. My Mom had bad veins. My grandfather had bad veins.

    My veins are small and deep. They roll, they collapse and they blow routinely. It's not YOUR fault about your veins. THEY shouldn't be judgemental pricks

    Losing weight “might” help... but for me? It didn’t really. My veins are still too small and deep to donate blood or plasma. The possibility is reason enough to try though. It’s a really good “why” to motivate you.

    More like they couldn’t stick to just doing their job instead of making it your fault...,really, not terribly diplomatic either to a donor. Younare likely dehydrated, and they are nit too adept. If well trained, it should be possible
