Took monthly measurements today and overall good news. Lost an inch off waist and half an inch off hips. That gives me my best waist to hip ratio so far at 0.854 compared to the highest at 0.895. I'm very close to moving from a high-apple ratio which is anything greater than 0.85 to the moderate-avocado ratio which is between 0.81 to 0.85. In my teens I was a pear-low ratio which is 0.80 or less. Not sure if I can get that ratio again but I hope to at least get close. Lost a few fractions off some other measurements but about the same elsewhere. But I'm very happy about ratio coming down as a great NSV.
Went to the gym pool early today since I woke early. Did my hour walk in the pool and I always use the water dumbbells the whole time. I really hope to lose some weight this week but haven't shown much of a loss so far so will try to do a 30 minute walk this evening starting at about 7 pm so that the sun will be down but still light. Next week I hope to get myself either walking or to gym for bike on my non water fit days. The problem with increasing exercise is you need to keep it up and I kind of slacked off this week. I just can't seem to keep the streak going.
Older son seemed to feel better today. He was just told by his recruiter that he does have to take a physical but no details on that yet. He hopes to do that this week on his day off. The week after is his birthday and after Kemah with me he plans on the weekend with his half-brother and family. He has spent a few days with them almost every year around his birthday. He use to also spend time with his former foster family but haven't heard much from them in a few years. His half-brother lives an hour or so west of us.
Hope we all sleep good tonight and have an awesome week.
This time, this time. Never quit, never quit !!!
