My 5% Challenge Exercise and Nutrition Commitment
Saturday, September 21, 2019
I'm catching up on my 5% challenge homework. I have been doing these challenges for a while now. I've had some success, but I'm still not at goal. I've become complacent. Satisfied with the status quo.
So today, right now, I am making my 5% challenge exercise commitment.
I am going to get up early with Hubby and go to the fitness center a minimum of 3 times a week, using the treadmill for 30 minutes and the recumbent bike for 15 minutes.
I am going to use weights or machines for strength work a minimum of 2 times a week.
I will do my physical therapy exercises every day, 3 times a day.
I will enjoy walks with Hubby and the dog on clear evenings.
I will enjoy family hikes on the Greenway.
In addition to my exercise plan, I am going to make healthy food choices, incorporating Whole30 recipes when possible.
I will track all my meals and limit eating to meal times.
I will drink and track my water.
I will meal plan and grocery shop accordingly.
That's the plan. I am going to start working my way up to these guidelines during this pre-challenge time so I will be ready and raring to go on Day 1.
