Wow! Where has the time gone! Out the window, down the street and around the block!
No wonder I'm so dizzy! Haaaa :)
The last time I logged into SparkPeople was in 2013. So much has happened since then.
My husband John and I have been raising two of our granddaughters and life has been busy, chaotic, and filled with a continuous string of faith, prayers and love.
It hasn't been easy, but we're doin' it, because that's what love does.
Time for Gramma here, to have another go at this "getting healthy" thing. I'm fatter than ever and still the stress/emotional eater I've always been. So, if anybody has any tips or recipes for low-fat snacks that are Iike potato chips or chocolatey ...feel free to pass them my way.
I have no scale, lost my pedometer and that's okay. You gotta start somewhere, right?
So, for right now, I will reacquaint myself with all things SparkPeople, get my bearings and make a plan.
Since I'm 61 now, and not getting any younger over here, I figure it's pretty much now or never.
Time to do something for ME and losing weight, feeling better is is a good place to start.
I figure I have to lose a good 150 pounds, so no time like the present!
