Sometimes I get bored...

Tuesday, December 03, 2019

Bored of the routine, bored of writing down everything I eat, every time I take a walk or climb the stairs. Sigh. I’m not off my diet, in fact have lost 3 more lbs, yay me. I’m still walking most mornings, weather permitting. My blood glucose is hanging in around 5 - again, yay. I’m just bored. It’s probably the the time of year - darker, colder, no garden to play in.
I think I’m S.A.D.
I‘ve always been a “let’s go outside “ gal, even in the winter, but this year is different. Maybe because I’m older? Maybe because I have to be more aware of my health? Whatever the reason I know I’ll snap out this funk eventually.
I haven’t left SPARK, it’s helped me get on track and stay there. I’ll be back, I’m just taking a break.
I know... I’ll go see my grandkids! There, I feel better already 😁.

It all begins someplace and you just started there. Sp is the way to do it.

We want to remember it took us a few years to put our weight on and it comes off a little at a time, just like it went on. People get frustrated with it not coming off faster than we put it on. But with consistent focus on doing what we are told on SP we will hit our objective. Like many things it just wont get there overnight.

Make sure you make one of your most focused goals you water intake. Myself, when I hit plateaus its because I am not doing the water correct. I found using a reminder on my phone to be very helpful in making sure I keep on track with the water

If you need a break, take it, but don't quit. Use what you know to carry you on your journey! emoticon
