HI EVERYONE.. WELL IT SEEMS MY PRIMARY DOCTOR WHOM I HAVE HAD FOR OVER 20 YEARS IS TAKING A POSITION SOMEWHERE ELSE. HE WAS EASY TO TALK TO AND I LIKED HIM. HE WAS FRIENDLY. I HAD JUST STARTED TO NOT BE NERVOUS WHEN I GO. I HAVE TO GET USE TO SOMEONE ELSE NOW. . I NEED TO REALLY TO DO SOMETHING THAT WORKS. I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT KETO, ATKINS AND NOW MEDITTERAN. SPELLED WRONG I AM SURE. MY MAIN CONCERN IS CHLESTOROL. SO MY GOALS WILL START WALKING, CUT OUT ALL FAST FOODS AND SODA. DRINK LOTS OF WATER. AND JUST KEEP MOVING. THANKS FOR LISTENING.

Hi Fellow Bear. Nice to meet you! emoticon

HAPPY HAPPY SPOTLIGHT BEAR DAY!!!! emoticon emoticon

I have rheumatoid arthritis. It's a systemic auto-immune disorder that affects joints and organs alike. I have been on biologic medicine and low level chemo for 12 years. My doc's approach is aggressive. I am very fortunate, because he is right on top of the cutting edge of Gold Standard treatments. Between the meds and doing Tai Chi, swimming and exercise I have achieved a lot. My blood pressure is down, so no med, my Cholesterol is also down. My HDL is up and LDL down which is super great and I finally got my Triglycerides down (not eating a lot of sugary carbs). I grew up with the Mediterranean Diet and I really like it. As long as I don't over eat at meal time and snack in between I'm okay. After me trying and stumbling for several years I finally have settled into a healthy lifestyle of eating well and staying active. I know everyone is different, but there's one thing I have noticed with all the successful Sparkers here. They have made a serious commitment and learned to keep it. My advise is just DON'T GIVE UP! For me it's been the magic.

    HAPPY HAPPY SPOTLIGHT DAY!! emoticon

I wish you the ultimate best! emoticon

Not wanting to kiss the blarney-stone too often here, so I'll stick to what I know. Anyone who has a cute doggie avatar as you have has to know to pegged that just about right for what you need to do; although I will say that sticking to one cuisine is better than some version of chemical abuse by the other two you listed which I will call "unmentionables".

Keep hanging in there, and keep us informed. Btw, if you need to release more you can sparkmail your friends. We need to rant, fume, sputter, and have someone still think we might be okay human beings afterwards.

    hahaha

Be sure to take care of yourself please.
    Ciao for now.
    Chow for L8rs.

Gail, I think whatever plan you do chose the idea way for it to work is to stick with said plan. Now I know you know this, but for some reason a lot of us tend to struggle with staying with one plan. So not that you ask for my advice but I say get on one plan, whatever plan and give it at least two weeks before jumping to something else. Hang in there my friend.
