missed a day yesterday, no blogging. No biggy, I really didn't have much to say yesterday anyway.
I ended up resting, sleeping and working in the garden in the late afternoon. That wasn't my intention, but once I started weeding the herb garden bed I couldn't stop. By the time I got all the way around and plugged all the leaves I found myself happy, stretched, and beginning to get sore.
I also found I had more oregano that survived the frost, and a nice happy sage plant that was buried under a foot of leaves. I have two rosemary shrubs each a good foot and half tall and sooo fragrant. I have tarragon with a good growth start and lots of chives. Which leaves me to replace parsley and basil, but was expected as basil needs to be replanted every year. In the front garden (which I hope will tackle today) I have to clear the leaves to see what is where. But there I am planting a sea of lavender this year. On the patio, some of the peppermints survived and it too will grow. In no time at all, it will overflow the planter again.
