I went to see my mom in the assisted living center she is at and they are on lockdown. Fortunately, I only live an hour away so it wasn't a big deal. So far, the closest confirmed cases are two and a half hours away. But it is heading this way. They are keeping the local colleges on spring break for another week and then they are making decisions about what they will do. So far the local public schools are still going on as scheduled. However, that could change at any point.

Personally, I feel there is a lot of panic going on. Toilet paper running out? I don't understand that. I can understand the assisted living center limiting visitors. The elderly are definitely vulnerable. I am also in a vulnerable group, but I really feel that if you use common sense and wash your hands and stay home if you are sick, you are doing the best you can for yourself and others. I'm not in panic mode at this point. Concerned yes, but not panicked.
