How is everyone doing with this pandemic? I am so ready for things to get back to normal, as I am sure you are too. I find it difficult to exercise without disturbing my neighbor underneath me.. If I walk the apartment or even step in place, she complains that I am making too much noise. If I use my stepper or cardio glide, too much noise. It sounds like I am coming through her ceiling she says. On nice days I go for a walk to the bank, around the neighborhood or just sit outside in the sun. This week has been weird. One day it hit 71 degrees, sunny, beautiful. The next day or maybe day after we had 3" inches of snow and temps never made it past 35. Now it will be in the 40's and rain for the weekend. Can't win. What are you doing to keep up your exercise.? What are you doing to stay sane and not get bored out of your mind? I have no books to read as the library is closed and I need large print. I am doing a jigsaw puzzle and getting my baseball cards together to sell. I have someone interested in my collection but he wants to know what I have. It is a lot of work. The collection is worth right now, book value over $25,000. Of course, you don't get BV maybe about 3% if you are selling to someone who wants to collect. You don't even get 1% if you are selling to someone who is going to resell. I was offered $200.00 for the entire collection and told him to stick it. I would rather burn them in a bonfire then sell them for practically nothing. I asked for $1,000 but know I won't get that. If Mark McGwire didn't get caught taking steroids. I would be rich. I have placques, coins his rookie Olympic card. I use to sell that card for $250.00 a piece, and sell alot. Dealers at the flea market would buy from me and then resell. I rather sell to dealers, even though you get less, but you have steady customers. Now you go to ebay and the card is $.99 and that is if it even sells. The gold coins I have retained their value because they are gold.---Anyway, once this crap is out of my house, i will have more room. It took up to full closets and some stuff are in bins in the living room. Not much room to walk, a little path. I would be too ashamed to post a picture, not that I have a camera.
When I get sick of counting and sorting baseball cards, I spark, do a jigsaw puzzle, which I think is missing pieces, and play computer games on AARP and 24/7
So now that I thrilled you with my exciting life
I will get dressed and go to the store for fruit with my homemaker. I am stopping at my Mom's to drop off some of those Mom's meals I get, but just leaving them on the porch We aren't taking any chances with my Mom. She doesn't go any further than sitting on the porch, and no one is allowed to go over. Sometimes when I drop stuff off, she will look out the window, wave and blow a kiss. I do miss her. now I have no one to hug me.
Well, my homemaker is done in the kitchen so I better get dressed and ready to go. Please take care of yourselves and stay safe.
