Day 1 was a breeze. The second day and the sugar withdrawl is real folks. Headaches and exhaustion. I've stayed under my BMR for calorie intake which is my short term goal for the time being. I was STARVING around 3 so I had a scoop of peanut butter and I was frustrated afterwards but have realized that compared to something like chips it was probably not as bad as it could have been. After all, it's about choices and balance. We made delicious taco soup for dinner. It was so filling that a cup did just fine. Learning your body's cues about eating just until not hungry and not over indulging is something I will have to make a conscience effort to do all the time. I have read several articles today to keep motivated and keep reminding myself that the 32 ounce Pepsi mid day wont taste as good as keeping up with my toddler will feel!
