This morning I was feeling having a "blah" feeling. Well, actually for the past week I have been in a "blah" mood. And sometimes that happens. emoticon. It might be because I have been thinking about summer and the things that I used to do like to do such as going to the beach, camping...and the list goes on. I am sure that with COVID-19 summer is just not going to be the same. This morning looking at pictures of the beach and there was no social distancing. DH and I have an overnight camping trip on the books for June and at this time the parks are not open for overnight camping just day use. We did dine in at Burger King (not my choice) and seeing the things that are now off limits was kind of shocking. It appears that bathrooms are not available. No place to wash your hands before eating. Then I got to thinking how hard it would be to travel if the bathrooms to convenience stores/rest stops are closed.

As always I am on the look out for pictures that I can post to help me have the right attitude for the day...I saw this picture and I knew that picture was it!!!



So...I am shaking those horrible thoughts out of mind and on to a thumbs up kind of DAY!!! emoticon

    I'm thinking STAYCATION!! Is in ORDER!! In Maine until July 1st the ONLY Tourists allowed here (other than essential workers) are US who are RESIDENTS!!

    MANY places are URGING us to STAY with them!! So I am considering renting a room at my fav place on the beach!! The room we ALWAYS get overlooks the sand so we do not need to be sitting on it. Plus LOL the water is still SO COLD!! Usually we spend a LOT of time in the pool and hot tub, but NO DOUBT that's OFF limit. STILL it has a kitchen, and THE OCEAN!! WOOHOO!! Looking for things I CAN Do.

    There's a mountain I've been WANTING to climb and now I have friends who will go with me!! It's a smaller one so if my foot is being a brat (it is) that should be okay.

    Drive in Movie places are open so that COULD be an option. Grab a few kids and OFF I GO!! WOOHOO or friends who behave like kids! LOL

    Picnic in the park? SURE!! I live across the street from one so using the restroom is no problem. Riding your bike with H and stopping some place for a picnic,, AWESOME!!

    Yes we have the same situation here - parks are just opening up (provincial and national) but there are no bathroom facilities available and certainly no overnight camping. And I can't imagine trying to use public rest rooms anywhere unless they supply sanitizing sprays, disposable gloves and people can clean areas they're using before they use them because who knows if the person before might have cleaned those areas after they used them? That just made me realize that as much as it would be great to be able to start meeting with some of the knitting group in the park again, if there are no restrooms available, that will make it pretty much impossible for me as I like to walk there and back (30 minutes approximately one way) and drink a lot of water while I'm walking especially when it 's hot. Don't think I'd be able to do it!
    I hear you on having the "blah" feelings - usually happens to me when I'm tired because I didn't sleep well. Love the picture - it really does make one want to get rid of those "blahs"!! emoticon

    Yes! That's the attitude! I emoticon your blog because in more than one way, we are suffering from funk feelings, BUT the way to react, like the pic you posted, it's what makes the difference! emoticon emoticon
