New Book Published but gained weight!!

Saturday, May 30, 2020

Well the good news, I finished my new book. All the stay at home at least produced something. It is available on Amazon along with my other books. Just enter my name and search.

The book is about an writer's search for an illusive 150 year old woman who he is being asked to do a magazine article about. In his search,he has frustrations and delays but he ultimately finds her but also finds a life and a love.

I had to get my car repaired $1700 but now it works better. The stress of isolation is getting to me and even with eating less and getting my steps in, I gained weight. Stress seem to add weight more than anything. My body just holds on to the weight when I am in stress.

I started to gain weight when my mom got ill and then she died, After wards I had gained 20 pounds. Then I had to move for work, my son broke his jaw, and other issues just added another 80 pounds. After my husband died in 2001, I was 215 pounds. Now I am at 186. I was at 172 before the virus. I keep trying to reduce my stress but then (LOL) THAT makes me stressful!!!

I am glad I write. It does help a bit. I hope you all are okay and are able to handle this calamity. Prayers for all of you!

My pastor's wife has written two books. I am amazed, she has much work to get done daily and works out of her home. Congratulations!

Congratulations on getting your book published and out! I hope you get a lot of sales - it sounds interesting! Also, thanks for sharing your struggles as I am also struggling and I am sure many others are too. I have not been able to eat as healthy as I would like to or work out the way I want to. I keep trying but everyday something seems to come up. I won't give up, I keep trying, and then I find blogs like yours that help me stay motivated. Thanks again for sharing!

emoticon on the new book getting published. Do you also keep a journal to "write out" some of your stress, or does it make it worse because you are rehashing the initial stress that brought on a need to write? Oh, the vicissitudes of life!
