A ROUGH DAY BUT I SURVIVED

Saturday, May 30, 2020

Got up about 7:15 to find my knee and back were really bothering me. I had had a low tire last night when I came home after meeting my daughter and son-in-law at Lowes so they could help me look for a stove. I aired it up about 1/2 way to make it home. When I was dressed I went outside and it was flat. I drove across the driveway to my son's house and he took it out to his compressor and reported that there was a hole in the tire and to go straight to the the tire shop.
I made it there and waited from 8:00 to about 9:15. They had just taken it in. I went to the counter to find out how long I had because I had a 9:30 appt. He looked at me and said the car was ready. The hole didn't have anything in it and they fixed it in a matter of minutes. Went to the beauty shop and got my hair done which made me feel much better.

I ate a sandwich when I got home and then napped for about an hour. Got up and started working around the house. Stopping and starting I managed to get laundry, kitchen cleaned, pots and pans relocated so I could put some of my larger appliances in the cabinet. This worked very nicely. I'll finish that up tomorrow as the top of my cabinet needs some work.

At the end of the day, I did some walking (painful) but got my steps up to 6755.

The last day of our challenge so I will be talking about the break and have others join up. We have a lot of fun while we put in our work. Think about joining us for the SUMMER challenge.

Today must have been tore day! Last night my son was run off the road he managed to put a spare on to get home. Today he took it to see if the tire was salvageable or not - unlike your luck, BOTH tires on the one side were unsafe - the sidewalls were damaged when he went off the road into a ditch. He needed to buy 2 new tires! So glad that you were luckier.
